What is HDS?

HDS certification (“Hébergeur de Données de Santé”) is the French government’s security framework for companies hosting health data.

Required by law for any organization hosting or processing health data on behalf of French healthcare professionals or institutions, HDS ensures that strict measures are implemented for: - Integrity, confidentiality, and availability of health data - Physical and logical security - Data backup and disaster recovery - Traceability and incident management - Business continuity and regulatory compliance
