What is TISAX?
TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) is a German certification for companies working for the automotive industry. It is based on the VDA-ISA standard and is managed by the ENX Association.
The certification is highly voluntary, but the automotive industry has been increasingly demanding it from its suppliers.
The certification was created to provide the automotive industry with a certification process focused on two specific points:
- The protection of prototypes and other sensitive information
- The implementation of a data protection management system
However, the certification is not limited to the automotive industry and it is gaining traction in other industries.
